45th Glasgow Girls’ Brigade Festive Fundraiser Evening
The Girls’ Brigade is, once again, holding a Festive Fundraising Evening in aid of the charity ‘Glasgow the Caring City’ on Wednesday 11th December at 7pm

A Guy Fawkes Evening was held on 5th November, 2024, at Mure Memorial. This was a joint event organised by St Andrew’s and Mure. A great time was had by all.

Family Guy Fawkes Evening
Mure Memorial and St Andrew’s are hosting a Family Guy Fawkes Evening.
Come and enjoy the view of the fireworks over Glasgow from the front of Mure Memorial Church, on Tuesday, 5th November, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Cafe-style Church Service
Sunday, 29th September saw the first of the new Cafe-style services. It was a joint service at Mure Memorial with St Andrew’s and everyone said it was a great success.
Harvest Thanksgiving
Our Harvest Service will be on 6th October when we will be supporting the Lodging House Mission Harvest Appeal. If you wish to make a donation of a tin/packet or of cash, please bring your donation on 6th October.
Cafe-style Worship Service
We are having a joint service on the fifth Sunday in the month. The first one will be at Mure Memorial on Sunday 29th September at 11:00am.

New Elders and Long Service Awards 2013

Boys’ Brigade Long Service Award 2013
At the Company Section Annual Inspection, on the 17th May, 2013, Glasgow Battalion Secretary Jim McVean presented 137th Captain John Strachan with two Long Service Awards. One for being captain for 30 years and one for reaching 55 years service with the Boys’ Brigade. An excellent achievement
Cradle Roll Party 2013
On Sunday 6th October we held a party and invited all the babies and children that Malcolm has baptised since his arrival at Mure Memorial – approximately 40 in total. On the day we had 29 children, from 6 months to 12, and 30 mums/dad/grans plus an exceptional team of very willing helpers. The party was a great success with games, toys, arts and crafts and of course, lots of party food. (Thank you Sharon for the amazing cake!)
