If any members of the congregation, Guild or friends etc. would like to participate and knit a few poppies or leaves, then these will be be gathered together and made into either a wreath or garland.  The best place to display these will depend on the number of poppies made  – possibly the Church vestibule.

Copies of a knitting pattern for a traditional poppy, an Anzac poppy and a leaf are available at the front of the church or from Jeanette Leiper.

In addition, if anyone has any spare red, green or black wool or medium sized black buttons which they would like to put to a good use then please leave them on the table at the front of the church.
