The 137th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade Junior Section had an enjoyable activity weekend at PGL Dalguise Outdoor Centre, from Friday, 3rd May to Sunday, 5th May, 2024.
The camp was attended by 12 boys and 3 adults, who enjoyed a weekend which was fairly warm and dry, with only the last hour of the weekend rainy. The activities that were undertaken on Saturday were fencing, zipline, problem solving and canoeing. At night there was a game of ambush against another BB company from Gourock. It was a 2-2 draw.
On Sunday morning, we started with Challenge Course, then Survivor. After lunch it was Giant Swing and Aeroball.
The boys were very well behaved and threw themselves into the activities with great enthusiasm.
Many thanks to the Joshua’s Dad, Charlie’s Mum and Mr Leiper for undertaking the driving to Dalguise. Thanks to Mrs McMillan and Mr Bennie for making the camp possible.
We once again enjoyed a grant from Glasgow City Council, so many thanks to them.
