The 137th Glasgow Company attended the Glasgow Battalion Indoor Sports competition at the Emirates Arena on 16th January, 2020. The boys had a great time taking part in the impressive Emirates Sports Arena. This is an exceptionally competitive event which is very well attended, and success is hard to come by. All the boys did very well, and two of them reached great success.
Daniel managed to get into three finals but in the end up was unplaced – a great effort. Mason achieved third in the 200 metres and just missed out on a final place – well done.
Mark excelled, gaining silver medals in both the 60 and 200 metres, and also achieving a bronze in the shot putt.
Jack went one better gaining the gold medal in the long jump and also bronze in the 60m sprint.
All the boys took part in the relay race and they came in 4th – so close to another medal.
