A great time was had by all who attended the Christmas Tree Light Switch On event. There were a great deal of things going on, organised by Garrowhill Community Council, which included arts & crafts, Santa in a beautifully decorated grotto, a big inflatable snow globe, picture booth, balloon art and candy floss. Garrowhill Primary School Parent Council also had a stall where reindeer food and raffles were available.
We were greatly entertained by Caledonia Primary School singing well-known Christmas songs.
Mure Memorial provided teas, coffees and hot dogs which went down well.
