William Graham from The Humane Society visited the Juniors and Brigaders and taught us about their work. The girls got to practice throwing lifebelts and ropes. He brought his dog Lede with him. We noticed Lede had medals on his coat. We discovered he had been presented with them the day before for his work in Afghanistan. Lede sniffed out IEDs and alerted his handler William. After his return from Afghanistan William was able to bring Lede home to Scotland and became his owner. The girls really appreciated and enjoyed this visit.
