The 137th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade enjoyed an Activity Weekend from 1st to 3rd of May. 11 boys and 2 staff enjoyed a varied range of challenging activities and games. The weather was fairly kind despite a bad forecast, which we all appreciated.
The activities started with Ambush on the Friday night, continuing with Archery and Climbing on Saturday morning, followed up by Burn Walk and ZipWire to finish before dinner. On Saturday night, the boys enjoyed larges games of Battleships and Knots and Crosses and a few others as well.
Sunday morning brought Aeroball – like basketball with trampolines – and Problem Solving. The day ended with the Sensory Trail and Canoeing.
Many thanks to the parents who helped with transport and a big thank you to Glasgow City Council for providing a grant which allowed this to go ahead at a more affordable price.
