On the 25th March, 2017, Mure Memorial held a Spring Fayre in aid of the Mure Access Project, which is to improve access to the church for people with mobility problems. Many people from the church and the Garrowhill community attended on the day which made it a fun and enjoyable time for all.
It was also very successful with over £2036 being raised, so many thanks to everyone. In addition, we have to thank many local businesses who contributed prizes for the raffle. They include Chapman Butchers, Massimo’s Restaurant, TIger Lee Restaurant, Yan Yan Chinese Takeaway, I Love Brows, Morrisons and Co-operative Supermarkets.
The many different activies that were on offer included, Face Painting, Balloon Race, Bouncy Castle, various outdoor games, tea room, tombola and raffle, cake and candy and Easter stalls.
