Pentecost Service 2025
On Sunday, 8th June, 2025, we held our celebration of Pentecost. There was lots of flag waving and rousing hymn singing.

On Thursday, 15th May, The Guild held a high tea and entertainment afternoon, which proved to be a great success

Girls’ Brigade Funday 2025
On Saturday 10th May 21 girls and 6 staff from the 45th Glasgow Girls Brigade attended a divisional fun day

Mure Memorial’s Jungle Adventure Holiday Club runs from 4th to the 8th August.

BB Company and Anchor Boy Display 2025
The Company and Anchor Boy Sections Annual Display took place on Friday, 9th May, 2025

There is a major pentecostal 24 x7 prayer event happening soon.

BB Junior Section Activity Weekend 2025
Our Junior Section enjoyed a mainly sunny and dry weekend from Friday 2nd to Sunday, 4th May, 2025

BB Junior Section Parents’ Night 2025
The Junior Section Boys’ Brigade Parents’ Night and Prizegiving for 2024-2025 took place on Monday, 28th April.

MAP Cabaret Night
here was a fundraiser for the Mure Access Project on Saturday, 8th October, 2016, which was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. More importantly there was £1005 raised towards the project, which seeks to provide better access for people who are less mobile.
Many thanks to Twilite for the entertainment and to Garrowhill Bowling Club for allowing us to hold this on their premises.

GB Juniors: Paramedic Visit
The girls enjoyed a vist on Wednesday, 9th November, from two paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The girls learned about the Ambulance Service, how to administer CPR and were also treated to an on board experience in an ambulance.

Malcolm’s 30th Ordination Celebration
After a rousing service the congregation joined Malcolm for lunch to Celebrate. A first class lunch was enjoyed to which many thanks go to all who worked so hard to make this a success.

Bill Russell
On Sunday, 14th June, 2015, Bill Russell was presented with a certificate to mark over 40 years service as our Church Organist at Mure Memorial. His many years of faithful service to Mure Memorial has been greatly appreciated over the years. It is with great sadness that Bill passed away on the 27th April, 2016. Three 90th Birthday Celebrations
On the 29th , 2015, we enjoyed a lunch to celebrate three of our members reaching 90. Jean Russell, Jimmy Russell and John Coutts definitely enjoyed their day on reaching this remarkable milestone.
