BB Junior Section Parents’ Night 2025
The Junior Section Boys’ Brigade Parents’ Night and Prizegiving for 2024-2025 took place on Monday, 28th April.

Easter Day 2025
On 20th April, we enjoyed a rousing, joyful service, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus

Praise Gathering 2025
A 400+ strong choir, including our own Elizabeth Russell and Jane Gould, will preseng Praise Gathering in the Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 14th June at 3pm and Sunday 15th June at 7pm.
Tickets are priced at £29.50 and can be obtained from Elizabeth/Jane direct (no booking fee) or from the Royal Concert Hall box office (booking fee applies).

Cafe Church March 2025
We had a great Cafe Church at Mure Memorial with St Andrew’s and visitors and helpers this morning, 30th March, 2025

BB Junior Section – Appeal for Staff
Sadly, we are losing a member of staff at the end of this session and really need new staff to join us for the new session in September.

Easter Fun Day 2025
Mure Memorial in conjunction with Garrowhilll Community Council are hosting an Easter Fun Day on Saturday 19th April.

Mary Mathieson 90th Birthday Celebration
The congregation, family and friends of Mary joined together after the church service on 20th November, 2016, to celebrate her reaching the age of 90. A good lunch was enjoyed by all and many thanks go to all the team who delivered a magnificent spread. Mary below blew out the candles and everyone sang happy birthday to her, which she really loved.

MAP Cabaret Night
here was a fundraiser for the Mure Access Project on Saturday, 8th October, 2016, which was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. More importantly there was £1005 raised towards the project, which seeks to provide better access for people who are less mobile.
Many thanks to Twilite for the entertainment and to Garrowhill Bowling Club for allowing us to hold this on their premises.

GB Juniors: Paramedic Visit
The girls enjoyed a vist on Wednesday, 9th November, from two paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The girls learned about the Ambulance Service, how to administer CPR and were also treated to an on board experience in an ambulance.

Malcolm’s 30th Ordination Celebration
After a rousing service the congregation joined Malcolm for lunch to Celebrate. A first class lunch was enjoyed to which many thanks go to all who worked so hard to make this a success.

Bill Russell
On Sunday, 14th June, 2015, Bill Russell was presented with a certificate to mark over 40 years service as our Church Organist at Mure Memorial. His many years of faithful service to Mure Memorial has been greatly appreciated over the years. It is with great sadness that Bill passed away on the 27th April, 2016.
