Christmas Tree Lights Switch On 2024
A lovely afternoon was enjoyed by all who attended the Christmas Tree Lights Switch On. This was a joint event by Garrowhill Community Council and Mure Memorial
45th Glasgow Girls’ Brigade Festive Fundraiser Evening
The Girls’ Brigade is, once again, holding a Festive Fundraising Evening in aid of the charity ‘Glasgow the Caring City’ on Wednesday 11th December at 7pm
Christmas Gift Day Service 2024
The Gift Day Service this year, will be on Sunday, 1st December.
Please bring a gift in a gift bag, but unwrapped, for an adult or child.
Mure Memorial Snack Bar & Charity Shop
Our Snack bar will be open on Tuesday, 3rd December
from 10am to 12 Noon.
Come along and enjoy tea/coffee with home baking
and meet up with friends.
We also have items that can be purchased at very
reasonable
Tearfund Big Quiz Night 2024
An excellent night of quizzing and fun was enjoyed by all who attended.
Guy Fawkes Evening 2024
A Guy Fawkes Evening was held on 5th November, 2024, at Mure Memorial. This was a joint event organised by St Andrew’s and Mure. A great time was had by all.
Junior Section Halloween Party 2024
The Boys’ Brigade Junior Section enjoyed a Halloween Party on Monday, 28th October, 2024. The boys enjoyed various games and activities including
Tearfund Big Quiz Night
Adults and Children are welcome to join us for fun at the Tearfund Big Quiz Night.
Teams should comprise of no more than 6 people.

90th Celebrations: David Beveridge 2013
David Beveridge celebrated his 90th birthday with the congregation and a fine lunch. At the same time, Mure Memorial also celebrated our 140th anniversary.
90th Celebrations: Jean and Nancy
Mrs Jean Duncan and Mrs Nancy Smith, both celebrated their 90th birthdays in December, 2012. Congratulations to them on reaching this great milestone. After the Sunday Service the ladies and the congregation enjoyed a fine lunch. Many thanks to all the willing volunteers who provided the excellent fare.
