BB Company Section: Queens’ Badge 2018
On the 16th March, at the Anchor Boy and Company Section Display of the 137th Glasgow Company Boys’ Brigade two young men were rewarded for all their hard work by the presentation of the Queen’s Badge Award.
Congratulations go to Ross Wallace and Ryan Goudie.
Well done to them both!
GB Juniors: Christmas Movie Night
The girls enjoyed a Christmas Movie Night with pizza and popcorn – all dressed in their jammies on Wednesday, 14th December, 2017. A great time was had by everyone
Boys’ Brigade Junior Section Hallowe’en Party
The boys and staff enjoyed much fun at this year’s Hallowe’en Party. Activities included Dunkin’ Donuts, Dooking for Apples and The Mummy Game – as can be seen from the pictures. Click on them below to show full image.
Christmas Nativity 2017
Sometimes we all get caught up in the commercial side of Christmas and it was nice to pause for breath and remind ourselves that we are celebrating Jesus’ birth. Below are some pictures of the cast. (Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus and the donkey).
Boys’ Brigade Junior Section Dalguise Weekend 2017
From the 28th to 30th April, 2017, 15 Junior Section Boys’ and Staff enjoyed an excellent weekend at Dalguise. The weather was cold but dry and a great time was enjoyed by all the boys. Canoeing, Archery, Orienteering, Survivor, Challenge Course, Burn Walk, Quad Biking and Giant Swing were the daytime activities. Evening activities included Wacky Races and a Quiz Night.
Scavanger Hunt
The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade organised a fun Scavenger Hunt for the community to enjoy, on Sunday, 17th September, 2017. Over a hundred adults and children took part walkiing round Garrowhill, collecting treasure and hunting for clues around the neighbourhood.
MAP Official Opening Ceremony 2019
On Sunday, 12th May, 2019, after many years of piloting the Mure Access Project to provide improved access facilities to the church for our community, Peter Malcolm and Janet Park, were present to see their hard work come to fruition. The new facilities takes the form of a building extension with a lift and additional accessible toilet facilities. An enjoyable lunch was held after the opening ceremony which everyone enjoyed.
Presentation Evening
A presentation evening was held due to the retirement of the Rev. Alex Stuart, Session Clerk Janet Park and a change of job for Child and Youth Worker Douglas Robertson.
Faure’s Requiem

This is your chance to sing or listen to a performance of Faure’s Requiem. Organised by Dr Katy Cooper, the Director of Chapel Music at the University of Glasgow and Andrew Forbes, the Director of Music at Glasgow Cathedral.
