BB Junior Section Activity Weekend 2025
Our Junior Section enjoyed a mainly sunny and dry weekend from Friday 2nd to Sunday, 4th May, 2025
BB Junior Section Parents’ Night 2025
The Junior Section Boys’ Brigade Parents’ Night and Prizegiving for 2024-2025 took place on Monday, 28th April.
Easter Day 2025
On 20th April, we enjoyed a rousing, joyful service, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus
Praise Gathering 2025
A 400+ strong choir, including our own Elizabeth Russell and Jane Gould, will preseng Praise Gathering in the Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 14th June at 3pm and Sunday 15th June at 7pm.
Tickets are priced at £29.50 and can be obtained from Elizabeth/Jane direct (no booking fee) or from the Royal Concert Hall box office (booking fee applies).
Cafe Church March 2025
We had a great Cafe Church at Mure Memorial with St Andrew’s and visitors and helpers this morning, 30th March, 2025
BB Junior Section – Appeal for Staff
Sadly, we are losing a member of staff at the end of this session and really need new staff to join us for the new session in September.
Easter Fun Day 2025
Mure Memorial in conjunction with Garrowhilll Community Council are hosting an Easter Fun Day on Saturday 19th April.
Mure Memorial Snack Bar & Charity Shop
Our Snack bar will be open on Tuesday,1st April, 2025 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Come along and enjoy tea/coffee with home baking and meet up with friends. We also have items that can be purchased at very reasonable
Easter Services 2025
There are special services being held for Easter between St Andrew’s and Mure Memorial. All are welcome.
Bible Reading & Art Competitions 2017
The Eastern District Boys’ Brigade Junior Section Bible Reading and Art Competitions were held in Kenmure Church on Tuesday, 28th February. The judges found it difficult to separate the boys in both competitions
BB Company Section Camera Class 2017
The Company Section boys enjoyed a three-week course photographic course which culminated in many nice pictures.
Morrison’s Community Champions Burns Supper
On the 25th January, 2017, 10 people from Mure Memorial were invited to enjoy a Burns Supper at Morrisons in Baillieston along with some others. Morrisons aim to celebrate hard work and dedication shown by people in the local community and in this case for our church.
