We have been made aware that Glasgow North East Food Bank is running out of food.
In response to a local appeal we are inviting you

Communion Service 28th July, 2024
The service on Sunday 28th July will include the sacrament of Communion.
Once again, we would ask that anyone wishing to receive communion should please sit in the centre section of the church, for ease of distribution of communion elements.

Induction Service
The Induction Service for our new minister Reverend Fiona Morrison will be on Thursday, 13th June, 2025, at 7 p.m.

BB Junior Section Display 2024
The 137th Junior Section Display took place on Thursday, 9th May, 2024. The evening was enjoyed by all the parents and boys, who put lots of effort and energy into the activities.

Praise Gathering 2024
This event comprises a choir of 400+ singing modern worship songs.
Tickets, priced £29.50, are available to order from Elizabeth Russell or Jane Gould who are singing in the large choir.

BB Junior Section Activity Weekend 2024
The 137th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade Junior Section had an enjoyable activity weekend at PGL Dalguise Outdoor Centre, from Friday, 3rd May to Sunday, 5th May, 2024

BB Junior Section Kurling Competition 2024
The Glasgow Battalion Indoor Kurling Competition took place on Saturday, 27th April, 2024, at Ibrox Parish Church. An enjoyable morning was had by all who attended.

Summer Fellowship Club
The Summer Fellowship Group will start on Monday 10th June at 1.30pm to 3pm.
All are welcome to come along and join us for tea and coffee and various activities.

Upcoming Special Services
There are number of upcoming special services including the date for the sole nominee preaching.

Scavanger Hunt
The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade organised a fun Scavenger Hunt for the community to enjoy, on Sunday, 17th September, 2017. Over a hundred adults and children took part walkiing round Garrowhill, collecting treasure and hunting for clues around the neighbourhood.

Malcolm’s Leaving Lunch 2017
Our minister, Rev. Malcolm Cuthbertson, for the last 6 years and 7 months has moved on to pastures new at Rutherglen West and Wardlawhill. A hearty lunch at the Rabbie Burns Halls was enjoyed by both Mure Memorial and St Andrew’s congregations to mark this occasion.

Mure Access Project Spring Fayre 2017
On the 25th March, 2017, Mure Memorial held a Spring Fayre in aid of the Mure Access Project, which is to improve access to the church for people with mobility problems. Many people from the church and the Garrowhill community attended on the day which made it a fun and enjoyable time for all.

BB Eastern District Indoor Games 2017
The Boys’ Brigade Junior Section Eastern District Indoor Games Competition was held at the halls of Shettleston Old on Saturday, 25th March. Great fun was had by all the boys who attended. The 137th had a particularly good day, with one group of boys coming 1st and another group of three, who had joined up with two other companies, came 2nd.

Bible Reading & Art Competitions 2017
The Eastern District Boys’ Brigade Junior Section Bible Reading and Art Competitions were held in Kenmure Church on Tuesday, 28th February. The judges found it difficult to separate the boys in both competitions
