Cradle Roll Party 2013
On Sunday 6th October we held a party and invited all the babies and children that Malcolm has baptised since his arrival at Mure Memorial – approximately 40 in total. On the day we had 29 children, from 6 months to 12, and 30 mums/dad/grans plus an exceptional team of very willing helpers. The party was a great success with games, toys, arts and crafts and of course, lots of party food. (Thank you Sharon for the amazing cake!)

90th Celebration: Ina Russell 2013
Mrs Ina Russell celebrated her 90th birthday 2013 during the afternoon at the Monday Summer Friendship Club, enjoying the fellowship and friendship of the day. A great time was enjoyed by all as Ina reached this magnificent milestone.

90th Celebrations: David Beveridge 2013
David Beveridge celebrated his 90th birthday with the congregation and a fine lunch. At the same time, Mure Memorial also celebrated our 140th anniversary.

90th Celebrations: Jean and Nancy
Mrs Jean Duncan and Mrs Nancy Smith, both celebrated their 90th birthdays in December, 2012. Congratulations to them on reaching this great milestone. After the Sunday Service the ladies and the congregation enjoyed a fine lunch. Many thanks to all the willing volunteers who provided the excellent fare.

The Daffodil Club
Our retiring offerings for April Services will be for the Daffodil Club, which runs from Easterhouse Parish Church. The club has been running for 30 years and some of our members attend the club. It provides hot meals and friendship for the Elderly in our community and is a lifeline for many.

LHM Easter Egg Appeal
On behalf of the Lodging House Mission many thanks to the members of the congregation who donated chocolate Easter Eggs.

Girls’ Brigade Coffee Morning

Edson’s Afternoon Tea & Presentation
On Saturday, 24th February, 2024, the congregations of Mure Memorial and St Andrew’s came together to enjoy an Afternoon Tea and Presentation to celebrate Edson’s moving on from his work in the East End of Glasgow.
